Looking for a new career in Dentistry? We can help, here at Castle Park Dental Care we have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team located in Cottingham, East Yorkshire. There is no prior dental experience needed for this role.

We specialise in calm, pain-free dentistry and this relates to our team too, if we are calm our patients feel calm. We give every new team member the warmest welcome, we have a relaxed and friendly environment which makes this a fantastic place to work. Professional development is encouraged, and we love to see our nurses grow their skills in dentistry. We pride ourselves on looking after our team with respect and courtesy.

What do Dental nurses do in practice?

• Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and to put patients at ease
• Developing the skills to assist the Dentist chair side with the performance of all clinical treatments within the surgery
• Providing our patients with the highest level of care during a range of procedures
• Updating computer records and taking notes
• Preparing instruments and materials during treatments
• Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls
• Undergoing training and studying as required to develop your skills
